My transition from 30 years in a corporate business environment to the field of counseling provides me with unique insights that inform my approach to helping clients who are experiencing a variety of challenges including those who may be juggling multiple hats (parent, caregiver, teacher, student, child, spouse, employer, employee). In addition to my Masters Degree in Counseling, I hold a Masters of Business Administration. I was raised in Iowa and relocated to Texas upon completion of my undergraduate degree. I have been married to Greg for over 30 years, have two adult daughters, and a couple of fur babies. My approach is a client-centered, customized approach. In addition to practicing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
